Fire-fighters tackle blaze in Hemsted Forest

Fire-fighters were called to a woodland fire in Cranbrook this morning. (Monday, July 8)

Crews used a car park on Goddards Green to meet before moving into Hemsted Forest to extinguish the blaze.

They were called at approximately 7am and it is believed that the cause of the fire was tree debris catching alight.
