Firefighters were called to a 12-storey block of flats after a bin fire.

The blaze started at Sunningdale Court in Square Hill Road just after 5.30pm on Sunday.

Crews in two fire engines were called and spent around half an hour extinguishing it.

The cause of the fire is not yet known, but it was contained to the waste shute.

There were no reported injuries.
