Kent Fire and Rescue Service are investigating the cause of a car fire they attended in the early hours of this morning.

One crew from Maidstone Fire Station attended the vehicle, in Lower Street, Leeds at 3.35am.

They used a hose reel jet to extinguish the fire and left the scene at 4.25am.

Kent Police also attended and it is not yet known if the cause of the fire is suspicious.
