Firefighters were called to a fridge fire in Teston this afternoon. (Saturday)

Two engines were sent to the home, in Woodland Close, at 12.27pm and the fire had been extinguished within five minutes.

A special fan was then used to clear smoke from the house.

Crews spent a further 30 minutes at the property to ensure the scene was safe.
