Firefighters had to extinguish a car fire last night.

One crew from Larkfield was called to Seven Mile Lane at 10.50pm and declared the scene safe 20 minutes later.

A silver Vauxhall Vectra had caught alight but the cause has not yet been determined.

A fire service spokesman said the fire is not thought to be suspicious.
