Maidstone: Fire crews called to outbuilding blaze in Knowle Hill, Ulcombe

Firefighters spent three hours tackling an outbuilding blaze in a village near Maidstone overnight.

Crews were called to Knowle Hill in Ulcombe shortly after 2.30am and used water hoses to put out the fire.

Emergency teams discovered a number of propane cylinders which were cooled and allowed to vent before being removed.

The cause of the fire is not known and no injuries were reported.

Crews from two fire engines left the scene at 5.28am.
