Winger Ellis Green is set for a return to the Maidstone side as the top two in Ryman League, Division 1 South clash at Bourne Park.
Green, pictured, returns to fitness after a hamstring injury to boost the Stones as they chase victory against leaders Dulwich Hamlet on Saturday.
A win would see them go top for the first time this season following a nine-game unbeaten run, but Dulwich will prove a major test of Maidstone’s title credentials. They arrive unbeaten in the league with eight wins of their own and manager Jay Saunders is expecting a battle.
"They have a lot of pace and I know a lot of their players." he said. "If you give them time to play they will cause you problems but if we play the way we can, then they will be as worried about us as we are about them."
With Wednesday's game against Worthing postponed as a result of the visitors’ FA Trophy replay with Bashley, several players got the chance to shake off some niggles, including Green, who is likely to return to the starting XI after coming on as a substitute in last week's win against Crawley Down.
