Five people have been arrested on suspicion of drug offences in Maidstone.
Officers in an unmarked patrol car became suspicious of a vehicle the occupants were travelling in and stopped it in Barker Road at around 12.10pm yesterday.
The occupants of the vehicle, all in their 20s and from Maidstone, were then all arrested on suspicion of possessing a controlled drug with intent to supply.
A 21-year-old man and 20-year-old woman from Maidstone and a 20-year-old woman from Boughton Monchelsea have been bailed until Monday, September 12.
Two men aged 25 and 23, both from the town, have been bailed to the following day. The 23-year-old was also arrested on suspicion of driving while disqualified and taking a motor vehicle without consent.
