It's not an offer you get every day, but visitors to this year’s Kent County Show will be able to get up close and personal with a Spitfire – in mid air.

The legendary fighter be at the annual show next month and people will be able to fly alongside in a helicopter.

It has been organised through a partnership between show organisers, the Kent County Agricultural Society, and Go Action Stations.

The show is at the Kent Showground, Detling, near Maidstone, on Friday, July 13, Saturday, July 14, and Sunday, July 15.

Tickets getting for the helicopter flights must be booked in advance with Go Action Stations at www.flywithafighter.com. Tickets for the show need to be booked separately.
