Four people have been charged in connection with a series of burglaries in Maidstone.

The charges relate to a spate of incidents in Roman Way, Boughton Monchelsea.

Scott Flisher, 19, of Brishing Lane, Park Wood, Maidstone, is accused of conspiracy to burgle, possessing a class B drug and assaulting a police officer.

Alana Evans, 23, and Thomas Morgan, 21, both of Hollingworth Road, Park Wood, and a 16-year-old girl, also from Maidstone, have all been charged with conspiracy to burgle.

A 17-year-old boy from Maidstone was also charged with a connected offence of the theft of a pedal cycle.

All five are due to appear at Maidstone Magistrates Court for a plea and case management hearing on Thursday, December 23.

A further four people arrested in connection with the offences were released without charge.
