A motorway was partially blocked after a four-vehicle collision, leaving motorists in delays of almost an hour.

The pile up, which involved three cars and a van, happened on the M20 London-bound between junction 5 for Maidstone and junction 4 for Leybourne.

Highways England teams closed one of the lanes until the vehicle was recovered.

Drivers were facing delays of at least 55 minutes at its peak.

All lanes have been reopened and traffic has returned to normal.
