It's not just humans who've appreciated the weather this week.
Maidstone's Canada geese, who can usually be heard noisily squawking across the town, have enjoyed a spot of sun.
They were seen flapping their way out of the River Medway and lining up on the banks to stop for a wash and a preen so we paused for a moment from breaking news duties, to catch them on camera.
The distinctive birds with a black head and large neck have been introduced from America and are now common in Britain.
But they might want to head for cover at the weekend - rain, a drop in temperatures and high winds are forecast.
