The mastermind behind Fridgehenge is selling it on eBay to raise money for charity.
The monument sprung up on the corner of Upper Stone Street and Woodville Road, in Maidstone, on Saturday morning in the run up to Sunday's summer solstice but has now been taken down.
Initially thought to be a practical joke, it later transpired it was the work of Kevin Wildeman and his business partner Paul stone, who own white goods store Extra Mile.
The pair worked from 3am until 6am on the structure, which immediately grabbed the attention of passersby.
On Sunday morning a group of 20 'worshippers' reportedly congregated at the site to celebrate the solstice.
Now 53-year-old Mr Wildeman has decided to list the quirky installation on online auction site, eBay, with all proceeds going to Macmillan Cancer Support and the Heart of Kent Hospice.
Mr Wildeman's wife passed away after a battle with cancer, as did Mr Stone's father-in-law last year.
He said: "The reaction has been massive and now I’m being told I have to turn my attention to another project. I was thinking about doing A Fridge Too Far.”
