A garden shed was nearly completely destroyed in a blaze yesterday evening.

Firefighters were called to Trevor Drive in Allington at 6.50pm where they spent an hour tackling the flames.

The fire caused 90% damage to the shed and had spread to three other gardens.

It is thought to have started accidentally after the owner had been smoking in the shed earlier in the evening.
