Three vans belonging to utilities operator SGN have been issued parking fines.

The vehicles are parked at the site of ongoing works on Maidstone High Street

It is not currently know what work the company is undertaking.

Maidstone Borough Council was unable to comment on this specific case but said that vehicles necessary for carrying out works that companies legally have to won't receive tickets.

However, if the vehicles aren't parked near necessary works they will be issued with a ticket but can later appeal.
