A national group of ghost hunters are heading to a 150-year-old museum in a bid to discover hidden spirits.
Paranormal investigators from Ghost Hunter Tours travel across the UK to the likes of Edinburgh and Manchester in their attempts to seek mysterious beings.
However, their latest trip to find the supernatural will see them trek to Maidstone Museum in St Faith's Street.
A group of about six organisers are offering people the chance to explore the Grade-II listed site – which was first built back in 1858.
A spokesman for the group said: "Are you brave enough to join Ghost Hunter Tours on a full blown ghost hunt at Maidstone Museum and Art Gallery?
"This location is very extensive and is a venue we have been trying to book since 2015.
"We now offer guests the chance to investigate this most amazing location.
"Over the years it has generated many haunted accounts by many visitors, and we just cant wait to investigate this location.
"Join us as we investigate its many galleries and collections within its walls".
Further information on the group's website adds: "Prepare yourself for a range of bone-chilling experiences, for we offer more than mere glimpses into the unknown.
"Our overnight investigations will test the limits of your fortitude as you navigate the treacherous realm of the supernatural".
The tour is to take place from 8pm to 12am on December 2.
Maidstone Museum was formerly an Elizabethan manor house built during the 16th century.
It was converted into a historical institution in January 1858, when it opened as one of the UK's first local authority-run museums.
It now has various historic memorabilia surrounding fine art and human history, and is composed of more than 600,000 artefacts and specimens.
Others sites which Ghost Hunter Tours have visited include Dover Castle.
They also have a tour of Tonbridge Castle on the cards when they visit the site on November 10.
