At last some good news in the battle against Covid as more and more people locally are receiving their vaccinations.
Anne Passmore, 92, from Barming received her first jab at the Blackthorn Medical Centre in St Andrew's Road on Friday, December 18.
She said: "I'm so grateful to the staff at Blackthorn for the efficient way they recorded and administered the vaccination.
"I hardly felt the prick and I've had no side effects."
She is due her second vaccination in January 8.
Meanwhile vaccinations at the Blackthorn centre, continue today, tomorrow and New Year's Day. They are by appointment only and at present are only for those in the older age group.
