Road chiefs have issued an ice alert to motorists as temperatures look set to plunge.
Drivers have been warned that icy patches could pose a danger on the roads throughout the night.
Gritters will be out in force treating the county's main roads, but some surfaces will remain untreated.
It comes as temperatures are set to plunge again overnight, with some places struggling to reach above freezing.
A spokesman for Kent Highways said: "Motorists are advised to watch out for icy patches, particularly on untreated roads."
