Hear Ye! Hear Ye!
Help is on hand for those suffering hearing problems after Regain Hearing opened a new branch in Maidstone.
Situated in Market Buildings, the store is the latest addition to the family-owned, independent audiology business that already has branches in Broadstairs, Eltham, Northfleet and Chatham, with another site about to open in Croydon.
The practice offers treatments for tinnitus and hearing loss.
Operations manager Kate Protheroe said: "Being independent means that every patient receives an unbiased prescription from the array of products available from every manufacturer worldwide.
"This really makes a difference and sets independents apart from the bigger chains who are tied to one or two manufacturer’s products."
The practice can offer video otoscopy, digital scans of the ear canal, bone conduction, tympanometry, speech mapping, and simulation, and also promises free after-care for the life of any hearing aids or tinnitus devices purchased.
The branch opened with some pizzazz with music from The Jelly Roll Jazz Band, with Town Crier Mike Dale announcing the opening, and with the deputy mayor of Maidstone, Cllr Derek Mortimer, cutting a ribbon.
Guests were treated to canapes, Prosecco and cake, provided by Frederic’s French Bistro, which is directly opposite the practice.

Regain Hearing also provides a home visit service to less mobile patients who are unable to get to the practice.
