A lane closure on Maidstone's one-way system has caused long delays.
The lane nearest to the former River Bar, on The Broadway, is closed while maintenance work is carried out on the bridge.
Queues were back to the Invicta Army Barracks on Royal Engineers Road and in the other direction towards College Road.
