Police helicopter circles Maidstone following search for man wanted in connection with attempted burglary in Peel Street

A police helicopter was circling above Maidstone town centre today as part of a search for a wanted man.

The chopper was assisting officers looking for a suspect following a report of an attempted burglary in Peel Street, at 12.05pm.

The search is on-going.
