The borough of Maidstone has a new place to eat.
The Toby Carvery has opened in Laight Road at Langley Park and can cater for 160 diners.
General manger Lloyd Marchant said: “There’s nothing better than enjoying the perfect roast, and that’s just what Toby Carvery is all about.
“Bringing Toby Carvery to Maidstone is a fantastic opportunity and we look forward to serving great value, tender, slow-cooked family roasts, made just the way they should be. From hand ruffled, crunchy spuds, to crisp and fluffy Yorkshire puddings, guests will be able to enjoy the perfect roast dinner every day.
“Everyone who works for us believes there’s only one way to do our beloved British roast, and that’s properly. We’ve been recruiting people who share the love of providing a welcoming, family atmosphere, as well as a delicious roast dinner. Our new team members will deliver a fantastic experience for every guest that walks through our doors."
The restaurant has brought 40 new jobs to the area. Customers will be offered the choice of four roast meats. Starters and puddings are available.
The cost is as little as £7.49 midweek - it rises at weekends, as does the choice of dish offered.
On Saturday and Sunday, the restaurant will also serve breakfast from 8am with an "all you can eat" offer from the choices available.
