Officers at Tonbridge Police Station have charged a homeless man with 16 offences of "sexual touching" in Kent between 2006 and 2008.

Martyn Hodges, 52, of no fixed address, was arrested in Norwich on Wednesday May 6, in a joint operation between Kent and Norfolk Police.

Mr Hodges appeared before Sevenoaks Magistrates on Thursday afternoon where he was remanded in custody.

The arrest follows a police appeal for information about Mr Hodges’ whereabouts after he failed to answer to police bail.
