A jogger was horrified when she saw five men setting their dogs on rabbits in Mote Park, Maidstone.

Several people were close enough to hear animal screams coming from undergrowth near Mote House as the men shouted and encouraged the dogs to kill.

One of the joggers, who asked not be named, said: “It was just really horrible. I honestly found it shocking.”

The RSPCA is appealing for anyone who sees similar incidents to get in contact immediately.
