A horse was rescued from the River Beult this afternoon.
It was seen swimming towards the Anchor Inn pub in Yalding when firecrews were alerted at about 1pm.
An animal rescue team from East Sussex assisted in the rescue which was successfully completed by 2.35pm.
The horse was seen by a vet and returned safely to its owner.
