A woman was taken to hospital and a horse had to be rescued from its horsebox after a crash.
Firefighters were called to Linton Hill in Maidstone earlier this evening after two vehicles, one towing a horse box, collided.
The accident happened at 5.30pm and crews used hydraulic rescue equipment to cut off the roof of the car, allowing them to release one woman, who was then taken to hospital by ambulance.
Kent Fire and Rescue's specialist animal rescue team were also sent to the scene and with the help of a vet, were able to release the horse from the overturned horsebox and lead it to safety.
Crews left the scene at about 6.45pm and the accident caused delays for other motorists in the area.
