The children of Lenham Primary School visited the Chilston Park Hotel to help decorate their Christmas tree on the front lawn.

The enthusiastic youngsters were then treated to hot chocolate and festive sweet treats for a job well done.

General manager Simon Barker said: "It is a continued pleasure to work with the primary school."

Andrea McCluskey, head teacher at Lenham Primary School, said: "Our after-school club and Year 3 children helped to create the decorations and then children from across the school volunteered to put them on the tree.

"The children were proud to see their decorations displayed at the hotel."
