Fire crews are battling a house blaze in the centre of Maidstone.
Four engines are in Marsham Street this evening as flames tear through the roof of a property's extension.
Kent Fire and Rescue Service arrived on the scene at 7pm and information is limited.
The fire had taken hold in the roof space of a single-storey extension.
