Motorists faced three hours of gridlock this afternoon after a car crashed into a lump of concrete on the M20.
Highways England is at the scene of the accident which happened at around 1pm just before junction 5 of the coastbound carriageway for Aylesford.
Traffic was reportedly queueing back to junction 3 for Borough Green and did not return to normal until around 4pm.
The car's tyres burst but no one is believed to have been injured.
Engineers were called in to clean debris and diesel from the carriageway, while the road was partially reopened.
It is believed the concrete fell from the back of a van.
