THE funeral of a teenage girl fatally injured while attempting to cross a road was attended by hundreds of people.

They were at All Saints' Church in Maidstone on Friday to say farewell to 15-year-old Larissa Shepherd.

Larrissa died on Wednesday, November 7, at a London hospital, almost two weeks after being in collision with a car in New Cut Road, Maidstone.

During the funeral service, Will Frogatt, her boyfriend of 19 months, read a moving tribute to her.

He said: "The way she looked at me with those beautiful eyes. No-one saw her the way I saw her.

"It’s all the little things I remember. Her laugh, her hair and her eyes. Every second I spent with her was amazing."

No charges have been brought against the driver of the car involved in the tragedy.
