Golden Globe-winning actor Idris Elba is swapping the red carpet for the stage in a popular dance club this summer.
The prestigious performer, who has starred in prime-time TV dramas and films such as Luther and The Wire, has announced he will be DJ-ing at The Source Bar, Maidstone.
Having bagged an OBE for his contribution to the arts, Mr Elba actually began his career spinning discs and often appears at top music venues.
He recently rapped alongside Wiley, Sean Paul and Stefflon Don in hit track Boasty, which has more than 45 million views on YouTube.
And just last month, he was at Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in California alongside Ariana Grande and Billie Eilish.
But on Saturday, July 20, he will be in The County Town - part of a 12-hour-long street party.
Until Tomorrow will see the 46-year-old headline the show, with a mix of house and dance music planned.
Sandeep Singh from The Source Bar said: "We are really looking forwards to bringing something exciting to our community.
"Idris will be playing house music and we know it's going to be a very popular event.
"We are extremely proud to have someone so prestigious coming to Maidstone."
Tickets are on sale now from £7, which will also get you a free drink.
If you're more into rock than electronic dance and house, The Ramblin' Man Fair is also taking place on the same weekend at Mote Park.
