The inside of a refurbished PizzaExpress has been revealed following its return to a Kent town.
Located in the Fremlin Walk Shopping Centre in Maidstone, the pizzeria chain began serving customers once more in the town last week.
The restaurant offers a wide range of dishes from the Piccolo menu for children to numerous vegan options.
At the heart of the restaurant is the open kitchen, where expert pizzaiolos can showcase their talent for pizza making.
Stephanie Reygate, the new Maidstone restaurant manager, said: “Our pizzeria first opened in Maidstone in 1989, and we know the love local people have for PizzaExpress.
"We’re excited to open a new store in the area with an excellent ambience for our customers to enjoy and we look forward to welcoming them through our doors.”
PizzaExpress recently launched its 2022 spring menu which includes the nationwide rollout of its vegan-version garlic butter, as well as a range of brand-new dishes celebrating seasonality and freshness.
The company left Maidstone in August 2020 as a result of the bite on entertainment sector hit following the first lockdown and the pandemic.
The new branch in Earl Street is replacing Hancock's American Kitchen and Bar at the former Chimichanga's site.
There are also a variety of new drinks from Naturally Pink Apple Juice to the Pornstar Martini and Campari Negroni.
