A mum is asking people to be on the lookout for items of jewellery belonging to her late daughter after they were stolen from her home.

The woman, who did not want to be named, has released pictures of the items she is hoping to recover after her house in Ashford Road, Harrietsham, near Maidstone, was ransacked and “every item of jewellery” stolen.

Amongst the items stolen were a number of watches, diamond rings, necklaces and bracelets.

Speaking to KentOnline she said: “The house was ransacked. Every single piece of jewellery apart from what we had on was taken.”

Some of the items were especially sentimental as they belonged to the woman’s late daughter, including a double bracelet with a heart locket she wore as a baby and a large cross given to her by her late grandmother.

“It’s all I had left of her,” she said.

She also said there was some particularly old, gold jewellery stolen which she thinks could be traded in to pawnbrokers.
