An East Peckham man has been sentenced to more than three years in prison after pleading guilty to robbery.
Andrew Rapo, 32, of Pattenden Gardens, East Peckham, was jailed for three years and four months at Maidstone Crown Court for a robbery in Aylesford.
On the evening of January 14, two masked men broke into the site in Aylesford, assaulted a security guard and stole more than £26,500 in cash and cheques.
A member of staff came forward to police, recalling a conversation he had with Rapo - an employee at the site - who had previously enquired about the security arrangements. DNA evidence later linked Rapo to the scene and he was arrested by detectives.
Investigating officer, DC Claire Hammond from Kent Police said: "This was a frightening episode for the security guard, who was tied up and assaulted when he was simply trying to earn an honest living.

"Rapo must now serve a considerable prison sentence and we have made an application under the Proceeds of Crime Act to recoup the money that was stolen that has never been recovered."
