Dancer James Jordan has thanked staff at a Maidstone hospital as he recovers from an injury which cancelled his UK tour

The former Strictly Come Dancing star, who comes from Medway, was forced to cancel the Uncensored tour with wife Ola, after picking up an injury in rehearsals.

The couple, who live in Maidstone, were expected to start their tour in Blackpool on March 3.

On Tuesday, the 39-year-old tweeted: "Morning check up.... Just wanted to thank my amazing surgeon Simon Bailey and all the staff at Kims Hospital for looking after me.

"I also wanted to thank all of you for all the beautiful messages of support. It really means a lot Love you all xxx."
