A LORRY driver escaped uninjured early today when his vehicle crashed into the central reservation on the M20 in thick fog.

The crash happened at the beginning of the motorway slip road near junction six, at Sandling, Maidstone, at about 7am.

The lorry overturned and blocked two lanes of the motorway, causing traffic tailbacks until the road was cleared, within about an hour.
