A convicted murderer is set to appear in court next month charged with absconding from prison.
Jane Andrews, a former aide to the Duchess of York, is facing charges of going missing from East Sutton Park Prison, near Maidstone, last November.
She was moved to the open prison after serving eight and a half years for the murder of her boyfriend, Tom Cressman, in 2001, after he refused to marry her.
Andrews had been due to appear before magistrates in Maidstone this morning, but the case was adjourned to allow the Crown Prosecution Service to review psychiatric reports.
She is next due to apepar at the court on Tuesday May 4.
