An 11-year-old boy with cerebral palsy has climbed Mount Snowdon.
Jasper Dudson, from Marden, was raising money for Cerebral Palsy Sport, a charity which seeks to help people with the condition to take part in sports.
Jasper was delighted with his achievement, which has already brought in £435 in sponsorship, but said his only regret was that his climb clashed with the March For Marden, which he would have liked to have joined.
His mother Julia Dudson said she first became aware that Jasper had CP when he was about 14 months. She said: "He was slow to crawl and his right foot was always pointing down."
Fortunately Jasper only has a mild form of the condition that can seriously limit muscle movement and puts some people in a wheelchair.
Mrs Dudson said: "It's just his right side that is affected. He has a bit of a limp, but with physiotherapy we are managing that and most people would not even realise."
His condition has not dampened Jasper's own enthusiasm for sport - he is both goalie and captain for the Coxheath and East Farleigh Under-11s football team and his ambition is to be a goalie in the Paralympics.
His mum said: "He can't run around much, but in goal he is excellent."
The Marden Primary School pupil made the climb up Snowdon accompanied by his mum, Dad Simon and 13-year-old sister Scarlett.
Mrs Dudson said: "It was hard work for him - and he was physically sick at the top with exhaustion."
Jasper said: "It was a massive challenge for me as not only do I have CP, but I also don’t like going on long walks!"
The climb and descent took the family a total of eight hours, but Mrs Dudson admitted: "I think that was mostly because I was so slow!"
