Jewellery raid case adjourned

Three men who carried out a daylight raid on a Maidstone jewellers will have to wait a bit longer before they are sentenced.

The trio grabbed Rolex watches worth approximately £30,000 during the burglary at Fraser Hart, in Fremlin Walk, on February 13.

Maidstone Crown Court previously heard that Corey Fregis, 18, Kiley Nightingale, 21, and Malachi Jones, 19, were armed with a sledgehammer.

Fregis, of Maxted Road, Peckham; Nightingale, of Perry Vale, Forest Hill; and Jones, of Glengarry Road, East Dulwich, all south east London, were originally charged with robbery, but pleaded not guilty. They did, however, admit burglary.

The group had been due to be sentenced today but the case was adjourned again until July 18.
