Kent’s Felipe Alviar- Baquero found himself embroiled in a bitter dispute with a team mate in tonight’s episode of The Apprentice – but still led his team to an emphatic victory.

The lawyer from Kings Hill put himself forward to lead Team Tenacity in a challenge to sell three different items at the Royal Bath and West show in Somerset.

Solomon Akhtar, a former Tunbridge Wells schoolboy, found himself in the losing Team Summit after having his feedback continually overruled by team leader James Hill.

Mr Alviar- Baquero, who founded the Tiny Town soft play centre in Larkfield, caused controversy when he asked Mark Wright to sell hot tubs with Katie Bulmer- Cooke instead of Daniel Lassman.

Mr Lassman helped negotiate a deal to sell the hot tubs but Felipe opted for his Australian rival to sell the equipment because he preferred his selling approach.

That caused a huge rift between the duo, with Daniel saying: “We landed that, the next day Mark’s turning up under no apparent logic or reason.

“It’s a completely poor decision, there’s no logic behind it.”

Felipe argued it was logical and the duo publicly bickered for the rest of the task.

The Colombian born businessman was vindicated when Mr Wright and Miss Bulmer- Cooke pulled in more than £30,000 from selling the machines - ten times more than the opposing teams grand total.

Mr Akhtar, a technology entrepreneur, was in that opposing team.

He took something of a backward seat and found himself selling foldable wellies and a hanging chair from a trade stall.

Team Summit had also hoped to sell the hot tubs but team leader James upset the dealer by twice calling him Derek instead of Anthony.

He opted to sell lawn mowers instead, despite initially telling his team they were going to sell hot tubs.

When the team questioned why he refused to say it was because he had made a mistake to keep morale high.

That decision saw Team Summit bring in a little over £3,500 in combined sales.

In the board room Mr Hill brought in Roisin Hogan and Sanjay Sood- Smith.

Lord Sugar praised Mr Hill for his spirit but still fired him and kept the other two.
