An opening date for Kent's first Wendy's restaurant has been revealed.
The American diner will welcome customers in Maidstone for the first time on Tuesday, September 27.
It will open in Week Street, in place of the former Carphone Warehouse, after plans were announced last November.
Customers have had a taste of what to expect after the famous red front, which was previously hidden by scaffolding, was uncovered last month.
Work began on the diner back in May after years of speculation it was coming to the town.
The American chain, which was founded in 1969, announced plans last November to open 50 new branches across the UK.
It will join the likes of Taco Bell, German Doner Kebab and Kaniklar Restaurant to have opened on the street in the past two years, as well as Pizza Express, the Giggling Squid and 7Bone in nearby Earl Street.
The restaurant will be the ninth Wendy's in the UK and the first in the county.
It will serve a range of favourite's from across the pond, including the Baconator, Dave's Single, the Spicy Chicken Sandwich and the famous Frosty dessert in vanilla and chocolate.
Customers can also look forward to the eatery's square burgers - both beef and veggie - when it opens next month.
The restaurant will also be doing delivery via UberEats.
It will be open between 7am and 10pm from Monday to Thursday, 7am and 11pm on Friday and Saturday and 8am to 10pm on Sundays.
