A vehicle blocked one lane of a busy road in Maidstone town centre during tonight's rush-hour.

The truck stopped in Upper Stone Street, opposite the junction for Foster Street, at around 5.20pm.

It's was not clear if it had broken down or whether the driver was making a delivery.

Drivers were warned to expect delays until the vehicle has moved at about 6pm.
