Lane closure on Palace Avenue, Maidstone, leads to delays on gyratory

A lane closure on the Maidstone gyratory caused delays this afternoon.

The right-hand lane was shut on Palace Avenue close to Maidstone Police Station due to a collapsed drain.

There were delays on the A229 Fairmeadow and the A26 Tonbridge Road as a result.

Both lanes were reopened shortly after 2pm.
