Here are the school league tables for the Maidstone, Malling and Weald areas, which were released today along with results for the rest of Kent.

There were no surprises at the top of the table with Cranbrook School and the town's grammar schools performing the best.

The schools were judged on GCSE and International Baccalaureate results.

The results also show how well children from disadvantaged backgrounds have performed.

The tables, released by the Department for Education, suggest there hasn't been much change in results since the previous year although both Kent and Medway remained above the national average of 53.8%.
