A finance firm has confirmed that job losses at its parent company will not affect staff in Kent.

Cattles Invoice Finance employs 13 people at its offices in Turkey Mill, Maidstone.

It is a division of Cattles Plc, a sub-prime lender to people with low incomes or poor credit history, which announced last week that it was axing around 1,000 staff - a fifth of its UK workforce - in an attempt to cut costs and "significantly reshape" the group.
