There are delays on the M20 this evening after a car left the road on the coast-bound carriageway.

Two lanes were closed following the crash which happened at about 7pm between junctions 8 and 9.

It is thought to involve one car that hit the barrier.

Emergency services are at scene and highways officers originally closed two lanes.

One lane remains closed.
