The air ambulance was called after two crashes on the M20 caused long delays this evening.

Both were between junction 4 for Snodland and junction 3 for the M26 London bound, and at least one woman, thought to be in her 20s, has been injured.

The crashes blocked the London bound carriageway just after 6pm, and the coast bound carriageway was also partially blocked due to debris.

The woman's injuries are not reported to be life-threatening and she has been taken to a London hospital.

Police and ambulance services were called to the scene, along with the air ambulance.
