Commuters have been warned to expect long delays in Maidstone tonight after a van broke down.

Kent Highways sounded the alarm after a van broke down between Knightrider Street and Palace Avenue, forcing two lanes to close in College Road.

Kent Police are in attendance.

Highways advises drivers to approach with caution and expect long delays.
