Many drivers were stuck in queues this morning on a busy dual carriageway after a car broke down and blocked a lane.

Traffic was at a near standstill on Detling Hill from 7.30am due to slow moving traffic on the M20 Londonbound.

The situation got worse however when one lane became blocked by a broken down vehicle just before 8.30am.

Police attended to help retrieve the vehicle and traffic in the area is easing.
