Motorists faced long delays on the A249 this morning following a crash.

The collision happened in the Maidstone-bound carriageway at Detling Hill at 9.20am but tailbacks were being reported back as far as the Stockbury Roundabout.

Police were called to the scene but no injuries were reported. Kent Highways warned drivers to expect delays, but queues had started to clear by 10am.
